Found death Wilber Varela, alias Jabon, in Venezuela

The last capo from the North of Valle cartel that still in liberty is one of the two death ones found on Wednesday on a tourist complex in the sector Las Lomas de los Angeles, in Merida (Venezuela).
That day the authorities make the legal works to pick up the bodies of Weimar Perez Aramburo and Antonio Perez Chacon, who still last night in the morgue. The news about these two assassinations was given yesterday by the newspaper Frontera, which highlight the doubts about the real identity of the victims.

The first body corresponds to a man medium size man around 50 years old. As per the information that arrive to Bogota, was Varela, the man that with the alias of Jabon incursion in the narco-traffic world using the violence, until becomes on one of the big mafia chiefs.

A judicial police source in Merida confirmed last night that both men had a lot of shots on their body.

Varela was baldy, the other death one, as per the first versions, was an ex-policeman between 25 and 30 years old that was part of his security corps.

The bodies were taken on Wednesday afternoon, but they were discovered on the morning for a worker that arrives to clean the room.

As per versions gave by the witness, Varela and the other person arrive on Tuesday afternoon to the hotel in lieu with another two men and rent two rooms.

The identifications used to register were not the same that appear in the document found by the Venezuelan judicial police.

One of them, as per Frontera, had Arabian accent and was fat and tall.

On Wednesday morning, a blue Fiat in which they arrive to the place exit with rush from the place.

Due to this the first clues highlight as responsible of the crime. “There were no irruptions and the neighbors said that they do not listen to nothing strange”, told to this newspaper a person that was involved in the legal works.

But at least one of the shoots was on one of the windows in the ranch in where were the bodies, the number 6. Also they observed blood in the stove and sheets that were taken by the investigators.

The preliminary information highlight that the men arrive to Merida from the Valencia state.

Until the moment have not arrive any relative, wife or son of the victims to the morgue in the University Hospital Los Andes, due to what the bodies still in the deposit”, as per version of Frontera. Still the work that was open to verify the documents in the national identification and foreigner office (Onidex).

A source from this state said last night that is probable that today be send to Caracas the finger prints.

Supplant his death

The personal army of Varela, los Rastrojos, is responsible of hundred of deaths, in Valle, Choco and Nariño, with this band has a fight with the Machos that belongs to Diego Montoya Henao Don Diego, the other big capo in north of Valle and his former partner.

Macaco one of the narcos who become on paramilitary chief, mediate in this fight that suffer the municipalities of Zarzal, El Dovio and Roldanillo, in Valle.

In front to the capture of Montoya, Jabon began to obtain spaces in Valle and over all in Choco and Nariño, in where are dozen of narco-traffic routes and are laboratories and coca harvest. Probably with the intention to arrive to a negotiation of peace similar to the one with the Auc, his assassins’ los Rastrojos began to show as paramilitaries with the name of “Rondas Campesinas del Valle.

The information about his death was received with cautious, because a year ago the capo tried to simulate it, in Venezuela too. In middle of this failed simulation, a citizen from this country who looks like him was assassinated and his finger prints were altered.

Who is Varela?

Wilber Alirio Varela, alias ‘Jabon’ pass to be the chief of the assassins of a fear narco-traffic capo.

Known as ‘Jabon’ or ‘El Negro’ he had process in the Federal courts in New York and Washington.

Is known that he began his delinquencial activities in the 80’s with the brothers Rodriguez Orejuela, but then worked with Orlando Henao, chief of the North of Valle cartel. He fight against the family of ‘Pacho’ Herrera and for years was his enemy until Diego Leon Montoya, alias Don Diego, who was captured on September last year.

The combats between the assassins of Don Diego, known as Los Machos, against the one of Jabon, los Rastrojos, have left more than 1000 deaths in the north of Valle del Cauca.

While were being developed the dialogs with the Auc, ‘Jabon’ recruit many of his men to create paramilitaries groups and in this form enter in the peace process, in the 204 were requested in extradition by the United States.

To try to tie to the peace dialogs that were being done with the Auc, conformed with his assassins los Rastrojos the ‘Rondas Campesinas Populares RCP, with influence area was the Garrapatas canon.
