Colombian Air Force offers training to helicopter pilots

The Colombian school from the Public Force located in CACOM 4, is qualified as the best rotorcraft school in Latin America. Since 2012 the school teaches to over 6.000 basic pilots of rotorcrafts; officers from the Colombian Air Force, National Army; countries like Mexico, Peru, Panama, Costa Rica and Dominican Republic and others.
Nowadays the training it’s given with the rotorcrafts Bell 206 Ranger and OH-58, those two American helicopters were given to the Colombian Air Force in 2006 and 2010.
Instructors from the Colombian Air Force extremely prepared, are the responsible of the training to the officers from the Public Force, in that way, CACOM 4 has the only two flight simulators in Latin America; the flight simulator Huey II and the UH-1H.
That’s why the Colombian Air Force will keep on forming not only the best rotorcraft pilots from the Institution but also from the Public Force.
